DIY Watercolor Cards

Today marks the close of Sharifa Creates’ Birthday Week. I appreciate everyone who took the time to read my suggestions and instructions for party planning. This week I leave you with a simple DIY project for watercolor cards. Give them as  birthday presents or as thank you cards to guests for attending your party. Have fun with it!

Materials

Watercolor paint

A white crayon

A cup of water

White cardstock

Equipment

Paintbrush

Instructions

Step 1: Cut a 9” by 6” rectangle from the white cardstock and fold it half.

Step 2: Using the white crayon, write a message or draw an image.

Step 3: Using the watercolor paint and water, paint across your message to reveal it. Don’t be afraid to mix colors!

Step 4: Write a message inside your card and give it to someone you love!
