DIY Canvas Art

DIY Canvas Art

Day 19 of 21 Days of Creativity- DIY Dorm Week

You don’t need to be a professional artist to create an original piece of artwork. All you need is some tape and paint. Let’s get started!

For this DIY Dorm project, you will a small canvas (9” x 12” is a good size), masking tape, acrylic paint and a paintbrush.

Use your tape to create a design or message on your canvas. Make sure the tape is fully attached to the canvas.

After the paint has completely dried, peel the tape from the canvas. You should be left with an original piece of artwork!

Take 15 minutes today to read, write down and meditate on this scripture:

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” Galatians 5:13
