How To Make A Glitter Letter Banner

Glitter letter banners are my favorite craft! I can create any message and then display it as a vibrant piece of party or room décor. I even sold them for a couple of months on my online shop. Glitter letter banners are easier to create than some may think. That’s why today’s tutorial is all about how to make one! Keep reading for all of the glittery details.

How To Make A Glitter Letter Banner

Supplies

  • Glitter paper
  • Alphabet stencil
  • Twine
  • X-acto knife or scissors
  • Hole punch
  • Pencil

Instructions

Step One: Choose a message

Choose a message to display with the glitter banner.

Step Two: Trace

Flip the glitter paper over and trace the message onto it with the letters flipped backwards.

Step Three: Cut letters

Cut the letters from the paper with the X-acto knife or scissors.

Step Four: Punch holes

Punch two holes at the top of each letter. I used a leather hole punch to get small holes.

Step Five: Cut twine and string

Cut at least 54” of twine and string the letters onto it before hanging your banner!

    1. Hey there! You can find them at craft stores like Michaels or Hobby Lobby. If not, you can also type the letters in a word document, print them out, and use them as a stencil.
