What do you imagine when you think of fall decor? I think of pumpkins, scarecrows, and anything related to Halloween. Boring, right? Thankfully, fall decor is getting a much needed upgrade. There’s beauty in learning how to persevere. In spite of the setbacks you face, you must complete what God has called you to do – no matter how large or small the task. Refuse to let procrastination, perfection, or blatant fear hinder you. When you reach a breakthrough, you’ll realize that every hardship you faced worked to develop your character in Christ. That makes the victory even sweeter.
The hardest people to buy presents for are crafters. They make everything! Instead of stressing over what to get, buy them the supplies they need to continue DIY-ing. Here’s a gift guide for the crafty creative!
P.S. Don’t be afraid to self-indulge! Purchase some of these items for yourself.
I’m a strong advocate for DIY-ing Christmas presents. This marks my fourth year in a row making gifts instead of buying them. I started DIY-ing gifts because I was tired of heading into congested malls only to not find anything worth giving to friends and family. I couldn’t even bear the wait for items I ordered online to be shipped to me.
I had to take the initiative! Now I find unique YouTube and Pinterest tutorials for my favorite DIY projects, purchase a few items from the craft store, and create. It’s a peaceful process!
Nothing beats handmade gifts. They are from the heart. This is why I put together a DIY gift guide just for you. Make your presents this holiday season!

Easter catches me off guard every year! I never know if it will land in March or April. And, I get so caught in the haste of preparing for Resurrection Sunday, that I don’t get a chance to make decorations.
This year I was determined to do better. I went to the Sharifa Creates’ archives and sprinkled a little Easter seasoning salt on a few of my DIY projects. Instead of coming up with brand new decorations, I re-purposed old décor. There’s no denying that Easter is a week away with all the pink, yellow, and purple colored décor surrounding me.
Lucky for you, I compiled ALL of these projects in one blog post, so you can get your decorations in order too. Keep reading to see how I turned 8 different craft projects into Easter décor!
