Friendship is a gift from God! Some of us have entire “girl gangs” while others have one “bestie”. Some friendships last a lifetime and others just a season. And many of us have become friends with the most unlikely people.
No matter what type of friendship we have, it must reflect the light of Christ. The moments we share with our friends should be filled with unconditional love, support, inspiration, and wisdom. Sure, every friendship faces challenges, but these hardships only mature and strengthen the relationship.
Friendships are worth honoring. Celebrate your girlfriends this month by throwing a Galentine’s Day brunch! Shower them with chocolate, wine, and good food. God has placed treasures in each of us – unique physical and spiritual gifts. With these gifts, we have been called to glorify His name and draw people to Christ. Often we stifle our gifts because of fear. We fear failure, the opinions of people, and even God’s ability to transform our hearts.
