“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17
Friendship is a gift from God! Some of us have entire “girl gangs” while others have one “bestie”. Some friendships last a lifetime and others just a season. And many of us have become friends with the most unlikely people.
No matter what type of friendship we have, it must reflect the light of Christ. The moments we share with our friends should be filled with unconditional love, support, inspiration, and wisdom. Sure, every friendship faces challenges, but these hardships only mature and strengthen the relationship.
Friendships are worth honoring. Celebrate your girlfriends this month by throwing a Galentine’s Day brunch! Shower them with chocolate, wine, and good food. Then give your girls a heartfelt handmade card that expresses how much you appreciate them.
In today’s DIY tutorial, I’ll teach you how to make a scratch off Galentine’s Day card. These cards are created to reveal a special message to recipients. Keep reading for instructions!
How To Make A Galentine’s Day Scratch Off Card
- Heart shaped scratch off stickers

- Glue stick
- Scissors or paper trimmer
- A Galentine’s Day card that includes a special message:
Design your own Galentine’s Day card.
Purchase the Sharifa Creates Galentine’s Day Card Printable featured in this tutorial. One sheet includes four cards. Each card measures 4 ⅞ inches in height and 3 ¾ inches in width. Buy the printable HERE. Print as many sheets as you need.
Print your Galentine’s Day cards, preferably on cardstock. I printed my cards at Office Depot on 110 lb standard white cardstock.
Glue the back of your printable onto the back of the glitter paper. Let dry.
Cut out each individual card.
Place the heart shaped scratch off sticker on top of the special message.
Give these cards to your girl tribe! Watch as they scratch and receive the special message you have for them. The looks on their faces will be priceless!
