Scrunchies are one of my favorite hair accessories. I admire how they can effortlessly stretch and twist to hold hair in place. A few years ago, I decided to learn how to make scrunchies. The process of learning was more challenging than using them. It was like perfecting a recipe. Through much trial and error, I finally got the “formula” right!
I created How To Make The Perfect Scrunchie: A Complete Guide to Sewing Scrunchies for you – whether you’re looking for a fun weekend project or want to make scrunchies for your handmade business. It takes out all the guesswork of creating the perfect scrunchie. This guide includes:
- One pattern that allows you to make 4 styles of scrunchies: Essential, Fluffy, Large, and Jumbo.
- Detailed, step-by-step instructions with full-color pictures.
- My unique technique that results in a clean, professional scrunchie. No need for stringing elastic or sewing down the middle of the scrunchie.
