With Christmas being less than a month away, now is the best time to purchase gifts for friends and family. Typical presents include pajamas, savvy electronics, and gift cards. But, have you ever considered giving artwork as a gift?
I have an art business named Sharifa Creates Art. I started it three years ago to sell my original abstract paintings. Over time I’ve come to realize that visual art is more than just something pretty to look at, it can have a positive or negative spiritual impact. I create my paintings with the intention of sharing joy, encouragement, and the good news of Jesus Christ! All of my paintings are created in a worship environment. Before they leave my hands, they are prayed over and anointed for the purpose they will have in your life.
This year buy a Christmas present from Sharifa Creates Art! Gift a canvas painting to the art collector in your life or use an art magnet to stuff a stocking. Your loved one will have a one-of-a-kind painting that no one else owns. Artwork from Sharifa Creates Art is the perfect fit for any space – from office cubicles to gallery art walls.

God showed me that it was time to step outside of my comfort zone. I began praying for an opportunity to participate in an art show or market. It was a struggle for Continue reading “Black Girl Magic Art Market Recap”
