Easter catches me off guard every year! I never know if it will land in March or April. And, I get so caught in the haste of preparing for Resurrection Sunday, that I don’t get a chance to make decorations.
This year I was determined to do better. I went to the Sharifa Creates’ archives and sprinkled a little Easter seasoning salt on a few of my DIY projects. Instead of coming up with brand new decorations, I re-purposed old décor. There’s no denying that Easter is a week away with all the pink, yellow, and purple colored décor surrounding me.
Lucky for you, I compiled ALL of these projects in one blog post, so you can get your decorations in order too. Keep reading to see how I turned 8 different craft projects into Easter décor!

1) 3 Creative Ways to Decorate Easter Eggs
I created these eggs last March. Thankfully they are faux and can re-used!
2) How To Make Jumbo Tissue Paper Flowers
Jumbo paper flowers are my décor must have. They are fluffy, colorful and perfect for getting into the Easter spirit.
3) Create A ‘Happy Easter’ Chalkboard Sign
I re-purposed my Christmas countdown chalkboard tutorial to create an Easter greetings sign.
4) How To Make Tissue Paper Tassels
Paper tassels are another décor must have. I already had tassels in traditional Easter colors, so I took them out of storage, gave them a quick fluff, and hung them up.
5) Glitter Letter Party Banner DIY
Although originally created for Christmas, I used this DIY tutorial to create a celebratory Easter banner.
6) How To Make A Photo Clip String Set
I found some adorable paper eggs at Target and could not pass them up! I used the eggs as an alternative to the photos in the string set.
7) Spring Flower Vase DIY
I used the painted Mason jar from my fall décor tutorial to create a flower vase. I just wrapped a bright, yellow bow around it and filled it with matching flowers. A piece of décor once designed for fall is now ready for its spring debut.
8) How To Make 3-D Butterfly Wall Decals
I still had butterfly wall decals that I created three years ago. I made a few more and let them flutter around my other decorations. These decals are perfect for Easter because butterflies represent rebirth and transformation.
Happy Easter!
