I recently updated my blog post, DIY Stud Earrings, and realized it had been a while since I made earrings. I decided to make a pair since I still had earring making supplies. I wanted this pair to be different from earrings I already owned. I had recently purchased a multi-pack of glitter tubes and was looking for a way to incorporate the glitter into my DIY projects. This was the perfect opportunity!
I created my glitter earrings using the same steps outlined in the DIY Stud Earrings blog. The only difference was that I painted a thick layer of Mod Podge onto the stud instead of paint. While still wet, I dipped the stud in glitter and covered its entire surface. I allowed the Mod Podge to dry before attaching the earring post. The results were so good that I created two more pairs!
