It doesn’t take much for me to get off track while working. A notification on my phone, a yawn of tiredness, social media- they all prove to be distractions. I needed a reminder to stay focused. Then I thought of the obvious. Why don’t I just put the phrase “stay focused” on the wall over my desk? Every time I hear Facebook calling my name, all I would have to do is look up and be reminded to stay focused.
I created a simple, pineapple-ly letter banner with this phrase to help me out (and it does!). In today’s tutorial, I will show you how to make your own inspirational letter banner that will encourage you throughout the day.
How To Make An Inspirational Letter Banner
Supplies
For this DIY project, you will need at least one sheet of 12” by 12” scrapbook paper, large alphabet stickers, a ruler, scissors, a hole puncher, and twine.
Instructions
Measure and cut 3” by 4” rectangles from the scrapbook paper.
Choose an encouraging message to display on your banner. Some examples include “live deeply”, “shine bright”, and “be bold, be confident”.
Spell out your message with the stickers and attach them to the rectangles.
Punch two small holes at the top of each rectangle.
String the twine through the holes.
Hang your banner in a place where you can see it every day and be inspired. This banner is fitting for the wall above your desk, bed, or bathroom mirror!
