DIY Conversation Heart Box

It’s the season of love. Malls are flooded with women and men searching for romantic gifts. Parents are making quick stops at the grocery store to pick up packs of candy and boxes of cards. And, across America millennial women are planning Galentine’s Day brunches. Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching!

With ALL of this in mind, I created a thing! This “thing” is a simple gift for couples, fun craft for kids, and perfect party favor for brunches. It’s a Conversation Heart Box! Learn how to make one in the tutorial below.

How To Make A Conversation Heart Box

Supplies

  • Heart shaped box
  • Tube of paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Pink or red permanent marker
  • Sheet of tissue paper
  • Pack of candy

Instructions

Step One: Paint

Paint the exterior of the box in a color of your choice.

Step Two: Write

Write a conversation heart message on the lid of the box. Examples include “You & Me”, “Be Mine”, “Hug Me”, and “My Love”.

Step Three: Fill box

Stuff a sheet of tissue paper in the box and add your candy.
