Easter catches me off guard every year! I never know if it will land in March or April. And, I get so caught in the haste of preparing for Resurrection Sunday, that I don’t get a chance to make decorations.
This year I was determined to do better. I went to the Sharifa Creates’ archives and sprinkled a little Easter seasoning salt on a few of my DIY projects. Instead of coming up with brand new decorations, I re-purposed old décor. There’s no denying that Easter is a week away with all the pink, yellow, and purple colored décor surrounding me.
Lucky for you, I compiled ALL of these projects in one blog post, so you can get your decorations in order too. Keep reading to see how I turned 8 different craft projects into Easter décor!

Admit it already; Christmas shopping is no longer your thing! It’s tiresome trying to find the perfect gift among crowds of people at the mall. They push and shove and do everything but put you in the holiday spirit. Then, once you find a gift, you stand in line for eternity to purchase it. Ugh! You only need to take one trip to the craft store to buy supplies. Then you can stay in the comfort of your home. Put on a holiday themed onesie, fix a cup of your favorite spiced drink, and start crafting with this DIY Christmas Gift Guide! Continue reading “Craftsmas Day 4: A DIY Christmas Gift Guide”

Well, fall began over a month ago and only one of those three things has happened here in Texas. I’ll give you a hint- it wasn’t the first two.
I’m not going to complain because to be honest, if it were cold, I’d wish it were hot outside. I’ll let Mother Nature do her thing and patiently wait for cooler temperatures. In the meantime, I’ll craft up fall decorations to help me get into the fall spirit.
Whether fall is in full effect or you are experiencing a completely different season (like me), here are 3 Fall Décor Ideas to warm your home. Continue reading “3 DIY Fall Home Décor Ideas”
I recently updated my blog post, DIY Stud Earrings, and realized it had been a while since I made earrings. I decided to make a pair since I still had earring making supplies.
