On the 5th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… Tulle Pom Poms!
I don’t have cute backstory for this holiday project (these pom poms are already cute enough), so I’ll jump straight into the tutorial!
How To Make Tulle Pom Poms
Supplies
- A roll of tulle
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Notebook
Instructions
Wrap the tulle around your notebook at least 10 times. Cut the tulle from the roll.
Gently slide the tulle off the notebook.
Take a piece of ribbon and place it underneath the tulle. It should divide the tulle in half.
Tie the ribbon around the tulle and secure it with one knot.
Cut each side of the tulle.
Now it’s time for the fun part- fluffing the tulle! Starting with one side, take one piece of tulle and pull it up and over to the right. Take the piece of tulle below it and pull it up and over to the left. Repeat these two steps with the remaining the tulle and the other side. Jam out to some Christmas music while you’re fluffing! It will help the time pass quickly.
Once every piece of tulle is fluffed you’ll have a beautiful tulle pom pom. You can easily make a bunch of these and use them as Christmas ornaments, garland or table centerpieces.
