Today’s DIY project is for an ombré glitter candle holder. I made similar candle holders last year for a friend’s wedding. I created an entire tutorial- pictures, video, the whole works, but never posted it. The perfectionist within got to me. But today, I decided that enough was enough. If I wait for perfect, nothing will ever happen. Continue reading “Ombré Glitter Candle Holder DIY”
“God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9
God is faithful. Although we do not always see God at work, we can know for a fact He is protecting, providing for, and guiding us. God will fulfill the promises He made to us for His glory and our good. God blesses us with the knowledge, wisdom, and resources to do His will. The process may take longer than we expect and it may bring challenges. However, God’s timing is perfect and the hardships we face build our character and prepare us for the journey ahead.
It’s not always easy to believe God’s promises for our life, but we must be encouraged and push forward. We should think of everything He has already done in our life. It is said over and over, but it is true that if God did it before, He will do it again. If that does not encourage you, then open His word! It is the best way to remind yourself of God’s faithfulness.

1) Hebrews 6:10 (NIV) Continue reading “12 Scriptures on God’s Faithfulness | Motivational Monday”

It doesn’t take much for me to get off track while working. A notification on my phone, a yawn of tiredness, social media- they all prove to be distractions. I needed a reminder to stay focused. Then I thought of the obvious. Why don’t I just put the phrase “stay focused” on the wall over my desk? Every time I hear Facebook calling my name, all I would have to do is look up and be reminded to stay focused. So, I created a simple, pineapple-ly letter banner with this phrase to help me out (and it does!). In today’s tutorial, I will show you how to make your own inspirational letter banner that will encourage you through the day. Continue reading “Inspirational Letter Banner DIY”
“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Romans 12:10
No man is an island. In a world with a population over 7 billion, it is almost impossible for us to live life apart from other people. We have to interact with others on some level even if we don’t want to. As believers in Jesus Christ, we should willingly build meaningful relationships with those around us whether they last a moment Continue reading “Cultivate Meaningful Relationships | Motivational Monday”
