It’s Harvest Season | DIY Autumn Decor

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9, NKJV

Today is the official start of pumpkin spice- caramel apple- sweater- scarf- and boots- season. It’s the first day of autumn! In the past, I defined autumn by its marketable attributes. Only in recent years have I come to appreciate the fullness of autumn. The temperature is pleasant, the sunsets are more beautiful, and the air seems to be fresher. Most importantly, autumn is harvest season!

Here’s what I found when I looked up the definition of autumn:

“The third season of the year, when crops and fruits are gathered and leaves fall, in the northern hemisphere from September to November and in the southern hemisphere from March to May.”

While this definition points to literal crops and fruits, it can also be figurative. This season you will begin to reap God’s promises for your life. For someone, God promised you a 4-year degree. This autumn, you will complete your first semester of college. For another person, God promised you a profitable business. In the last quarter of 2019, you will make consistent sales in your online shop. Maybe God promised you that He would deliver you from a bad habit. By the end of autumn, you’ll find that your triggers are powerless.

Keep praying, working, and believing. Amazing things are coming your way this autumn!
